Trenton NJ native Bella Rose is the true definition of every woman Bella Rose is a thriving entrepreneur, beauty & lifestyle philanthropist, wife, and mother. Bella developed a love for Glam, in 2008 with interest in the new trends Bella Launched the Bella Rose Passion Brand she dived head-on into the beauty industry by opening the company’s first brick and mortar, Bella Rose Boutique in 2010. Bella took that opportunity to feed her love of the latest fashion and trends. After high demand from well-based clientele about her potential for carrying makeup, she decided to launch a cosmetics company to meet their needs. Naming the line Bella Rose Passion. The lip line features all-natural products, made with special ingredients such as shea butter, which helped launch a natural revolution in the cosmetic industry. Bella Rose Passion Cosmetics has been featured on many celebrity faces and in shows, such as R&B Divas Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Starz Original “POWER” and various music artists.

Bella was attending all events even asking business owners can she set up a pop up to sell products she handed her business cards to everyone in the stores when grocery shopping, Bella goal was to go unnoticed and it worked, Now selling wholesale Lipstick, Creating Lipstick Lines for others also Bella Rose Passion Products are sold in various boutiques worldwide.

Bella Rose’s contributions to the beauty industry were featured in Sheen, Black Hair, Hip Hop Weekly, and Essence magazines, also various radio stations, and iReport CNN. Her success landed her a small supporting role on the Bravo series, “The New Atlanta,” in 2013. Shortly after she began producing her own reality TV show she solely created “ MUA of Atlanta “ which piqued the interest of many producers for Television Network, Bella also produces and directs Photography and Music Video Sets.

Bella Rose birthed (Bella Rose Artistry) Agency in 2014, which gained notoriety quickly. The agency now employs about a dozen artists. Throughout her success, Bella Rose has maintained community involvement through charity and sponsorship for more than 100 events and entities in Atlanta G.A., South Carolina, North Carolina, and New York. But dealing with her high blood pressure while worrying about her mother who has survived a Brain Aneurysm She wanted to do more to make a difference, Bella partnered with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation to bring awareness to young ladies of different ethnicity.

Bella Rose was Nominated by Boss Magazine as one of the Top Atlanta Women To Watch in the Beauty Industry, also seen with her Bella Rose Artistry Staff on The Steve Harvey Television Show. Bella Rose then received The Business Excellence Award from 2016–2021 Breaking new grounds. Bella Rose is now focused on her New Skin Care Collection that has launched on Major Retail Websites such as Walmart.com as well as Sold in Macy’s Lenox Mall Atlanta G.A. and Target.com and growing every day.

Bella Rose plans to build her empire and become a Global Beauty Mogul.

FGM: It’s an honor to sit down with you. Tell us a little about your brand and how you’ve come to this vastly successful peek in your career?

Bella Rose: Thank you so much, I appreciate the opportunity to share some information about my brand Bella Rose Passion. My brand started 10 years ago in our living room, I actually started as a boutique owner and ventured into cosmetics soon after and found my lane with my skincare line. 

I would like to think my success started a few years ago when I got serious into the behind-the-scenes and focused on what will make my brand highlighted in the best way, It was helpful to take a step back and hit reset to go back to step 1. 

I was contacted by the producers of The Steve Harvey Show and after our episode and the conversation I had with Mr. Harvey I knew my brand was ready to take the next step so I went hard for retail partnerships and here I am today partnered with Walmart & Target.com

FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?

Bella Rose: Oh wow, I can honestly say I enjoyed working with Da’Brat, Boosie, Porsha Williams, and my favorite project I worked on was maybe the BET Experience Weekend it was constant hustle and moving.

FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?

Bella Rose: I wouldn’t say I make a difference in the world but, I do make a difference in the people’s lives that mean the most to me daily. I take pride in having a healthy marriage and showing our children the value of life.

FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur?

Bella Rose: I didn’t use to see my determination until I looked back, but it has been times I would literally work until I could not keep my eyes open doing research. Unfortunately, I developed High Blood Pressure. I never expressed to my team that I would go straight to work from a doctor's appointment and not tell anyone.

I was determined to get into retail and it took 3 years to get into Target. The consistent no’s made me go harder and when I finally got the yes, I found out I needed emergency surgery on my spine, I signed my contract the day after surgery in a neck brace halfway asleep..lol

FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand?

Bella Rose: My 3 best qualities in Bella Rose Passion are Quality Ingredients, Amazing Scents, and Beautiful Packaging.

FGM: Being an entrepreneur is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that? 

Bella Rose: It is really no way to know what you will get into as an entrepreneur but I prepare myself by giving myself a schedule.

I give myself 2 hours to do emails in the morning, I take a 30-minute social media break, then I check in with my team for an hour at noon, and then I check in on packaging and shipping. At the end of my shift, I take inventory, do my notes, then I clock out to start my personal day. It took me years to learn how to do it but I treat it as an actual job schedule.

FGM: How did you acquire the ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as an entrepreneur? 

Bella Rose: I am terrified of deadlines, I like to be done and prepared a day before it’s due but deadlines make me so focused on my craft. I do some of my best work under pressure.

FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, place, to develop a new brand development?

Bella Rose: I have a bench in my closet, and I go in there in the morning to meditate with my eyes closed, then I write myself inspirational notes and that helps me become creative.


FGM: Which current public figure, are you inspired by or appreciate the most? 

Bella Rose: Honestly no public figures at the time, I am inspired by my Mentor Sharee Gregory CEO of Salon NvUs in Burlington & Trenton NJ my hometown. I appreciate her the most because she supported and helped me with 4–6 hour phone calls until 4 AM sometimes and she’s always flying here to be a part of Bella Rose Passion every step in my career while she has been building her successful career for over 20 years. 


FGM: How do you handle stress? 

Bella Rose: I drink herbal tea, and go to a quiet place.


FGM: What are the three qualities you feel an entrepreneur must have?

Bella Rose: Patience, Obedience, and Financial Literacy.


FGM: Where do you see your business in 10 years and how do you plan to get there?

Bella Rose: I see Bella Rose Passion as a household brand name in all retail stores and I plan to get there with determination.
