Fashion Gxd Magazine : What three pieces of advice would you give to other children who want to become entrepreneurs?
Answer: 1.To remain focused, consistent & put a lot of hard work into achieving your goals. 2. Remember the reason you got started! 3. Surround yourself around people who are stronger in areas you are weak.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Answer: In the beginning I would of done more research on the model selection process.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur ?
Answer: Networking, marketing, and communication are all important skills to have. Networking allows you to meet different people. Communication is effective in delivery your messages through your marketing, which will be seen and heard by large groups of people.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Answer: There’s been bad experience with some vendors, models, and performers in the very beginning. What was learned from that experience, is to be sure whoever does business with us is recommended by a reliable source. You can also properly research them yourself to be sure that they will be a good fit for you and your brand. Have a back up plan, because anything can happen and you want to be prepared. If you are attempting to give an opportunity to someone with less experience, but you believe in their potential, create a list of standards in which to go by and sign a contract.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How many hours do you work a day on average?
Answer: Three hours a day on average
Fashion Gxd Magazine :Describe/outline your typical day?
Answer: A typical day for the RDB team is talking to vendors , designers, models, sending out emails, conference calls, business meetings, promoting, networking & researching venues for future shows.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
Answer: You have to sacrifice some of your family time & give it to building your business.
