Fashion Gxd Magazine: How did the idea for your business come about?
Spirit Butterfly:I have An Appreciation Of Beauty And Nature. I Am Also Health Conscious, For The Most Part. I Thought It Would Be Very Innovative To Take What I Am Good At, What I Love, And What Can Heal, And Combined It All Together To Be Of Service To Others.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: How do you find people to bring into your organization that truly care about the organization the way you do?
Spirit Butterfly: I Feel For Their Passion And Work Ethic. Individuals Who Are Sincere About What They Do, Combined With A Willingness To Work For A Goal ARE People I Keep In My Circle.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: What three pieces of advice would you give to other children who want to become entrepreneurs?
Spirit Butterfly: You Have To Believe Wholeheartedly In Yourself. Then, You Have to Wholeheartedly Believe In Your Talent, And/Or What You Have To Bring To The Table. Last But Not Least, You Must Have The Patience And Perseverance To Keep Going Despite Of Whatever Comes Your Way.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Spirit Butterfly: Honestly, I Would Not Do Anything Different. All Of My Experiences Helped Mold How I Feel And Who I Am Today.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur ?
Spirit Butterfly: Self Belief, Adaptability, And An Excellent Work Ethic.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Spirit Butterfly: As The Saying Goes, "...Never Put Off Tomorrow What You Can Do Today..." Is A Key Ingredient That Have Been A Downfall. I Have Missed Business Opportunities And Clients Due To Procrastination, And Putting Off Important Benefactors On Others When I Should Have Taken Care Of The Situation. As Soon As Opportunities And Potential Prospects Come Your Way, Take Full Advantage Of It The Moment It Arises, If You Are Able And Willing To.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: How many hours do you work a day on average?
Spirit Butterfly: Honestly, It Really Depends On My Schedule. Some Days I Work 24 Hours Straight With No Sleep... While Others, I Work For Only 5 Hours. My Weeks Are Very Unpredictable, For The Most Part.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: Describe/outline your typical day?
Spirit Butterfly: First, I wake Up To Devote 20 Minutes To An Hour For Meditation. Depending On My Schedule, I either Have Time To Work Out In The Morning Or Evenings For 30 Minutes, To An Hour And A Half, 3 To 4 Times A Week. If I Have A Fitness Client, It Is Usually More Time Spent In The Gym. I Juggle Homeschooling My Children, Shipping Products To The Post Office, Emailing Clients, Promoting And Marketing Through Social Media, Making And Receiving Business Phone Calls, And Meeting With Business Employees And Affiliates Monday Through Wednesday. Thursday Through Saturday Is Devoted To My Hair Clients, Fitness Training, Meetings, And Work Relating To Motion Pictures And Television Sets Here In Atlanta. I Am Also In The Process Of Rebranding Farasha Kaa.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
Spirit Butterfly: I Have Been Working For Myself Before I Had Children, So The Adjustment Into Motherhood Have Been Easy On Someday's, Yet A Struggle On Others. I Can Say That I Am Truly Thankful For It All. I Have Had Countless Times Where My Children Were On Set With Me, However, I Have Always Had A Good Support System. It Appeared That Some Of My Family Members Became Either Distant, Or Competitive With Me As My Accomplishments And Recognition Grew, Yet For The Most Part, My Family Have Been Very Supportive.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: What motivates you?
Spirit Butterfly: Knowing That I Am A Spiritual Being Manifested As A Physical Feminine Woman On This Planet With Talents, Abilities, And A Mind... Who Comes From A Lineage Of Great Kings And Goddesses, Who, Too Produced Greatness Motivates Me. My Children Motivates Me. Waking Up Every Morning Motivates Me. Nature Motivates Me. How The Stars Shine So Bright At Night Motivates Me...
Fashion Gxd Magazine: How do you generate new ideas?
Spirit Butterfly: I Go Within Myself A Lot, And Ask My Intuition To Lead And Guide Me. I Always Find Time To Go Out In Nature... I Believe Nature Speaks And Reveals Secrets and Messages. I Ask People What Are Their Needs, Including My Own, Then Come With Ways To Give It. My God Mother Always Told Me "... If You Are Searching For Something That You Can Not Find, It Is Because You Are The One To Create It!"
Fashion Gxd Magazine: What sacrifices have you had to make to be a successful entrepreneur?
Spirit Butterfly: I Have Sacrificed Friendships, Intimate Relationships, And Sleep.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?
Spirit Butterfly: In 10 Years, My Goals Are To Own, Manage, And Successfully Maintain Multiple Natural Hair/Dance Studios Around The Country, That Promote And Sell Farash Kaa Organic Series Products And Merchandise.
I See My Crafts Are Perfected, With A Very Profound And Influential Clientele, Who Have The Heart And Financial Backing To Fund My Written Books, And Entrepreneurial Endeavors On An International Level.
