This week we sat down with the rising brand that is featured in our five year anniversary print issue of Fashion Gxd Magazine. Get to know the rising brand GMG generation & Brinks podcast, in an exclusive interview.
FGM: Its an honor to sit down with you all . Tell us a little about your brand and how you've come to this vastly successful peek in your career .
Answer: The brand was created in 2008 I wanted to build generational wealth and create better living conditions for my family so i kept creating believed and stayed consistent to the grind.
FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?
Answer: The clients are from anywhere from mid 20s to 45 years old woman and men. I enjoy bringing the whole fashion world to another level in my city seeing the looks on people faces from the style to the quality so ill say designing i love the podcast show also @brinkspodcast cause i get to share knowledge and connect with people around the world
FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?
Answer: I feel i make a difference because i give back to the community visit schools to connect with kids. I’ve donated playstation 4s to student with the highest TSA test scores just a lot of things positive for community and the youth.
FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur
Answer: Leading up to my grand opening i stayed up sleepless nights by myself invested all my money by myself nobody gave me a dime or even tried to help out i asked a friend of mine twice a year ago to go half on LLC he feed me a million excuses i took it upon myself because i really believed in the vision before i left to purchase the brinks truck nobody believed in me. So call friends act liked they really seen the vision but you feel it spiritually when somebody really believes in you verses them just being a yes man or making sure they secure a spot just incase you do make it. I say that to say this me being aware of all these things around me and i'm here today with y’all in good spirits should explain dedication.
FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand
Answer: Quality, Customer service, and connect with the customers hands on
FGM: Give me an example of when you worked irregular hours?
Answer: Working irregular hours is honestly a life style for me. I personally feel that’s one of the most important things in being a entrepreneur is the time you put in
FGM: Being a entrepreneur is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that?
Answer: I was raised by a mother thats a entrepreneur growing up she had different sources of incomes always working and hustling its in my blood something that apart of me.
FGM: How did you acquire the ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as a entrepreneur ?
Answer: To me pressure is a sign of fear i just pray and go harder stay up odd hours and away from worldly things
FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, place, to develop new brand developments?
Answer: Any where i could sit back listen to mother nature peaceful places by myself

How do you handle stress ?
Answer: isolate myself go to the gym workout might roll up some good smoke

Answer: dedication, consistency , and discipline.
FGM: Where do you see your business in 10 years ?How do you plan to get there ?
Answer: I see my brand worldwide a brand that the people love and actually know the story behind it.
