Today our feature For Inspiring Lives we introduce to you and innovative brand The Creativity , Style and Fashion style s of the brand captivates the essential identity of Momtrepenuerwear . This Inspiring Life is Herstler Clothing.

Fashion Gxd Magazine: What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

Delreena Phillips:  most favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur is being my own boss. I love the fact that I can make my own hours, rules and I don't have to answer to no one but myself. It feels good to take care of home and do what I enjoy.

Fashion Gxd Magazine: Herstler is such a unique name, why did you choose it for your business ?

Delreena Phillips : I wanted a name that represented me as well as interesting enough that it would make a impression but bold at the same time. I wanted to stand and I think Herstler, which stems from two words, hers and hustle, allowed me to do just that.

Fashion Gxd Magazine what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?

Delreena Phillips : Simply just to go for it. For a while, I was afraid to put myself out there. I was afraid what people would think and if they would be interested in what I had to offer. But over the course of time, I learned that fear only hinders you. It keeps you from enjoying life and hinders your growth. I just took a leap of faith and hoped I didn't fall on my face.

Fashion Gxd Magazine: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Delreena Phillips : Every entrepreneur has to have that motivation, determination and the will power to get them started and keep them going. I actually started my business on Ebay in 2010 under a different name. Because I wanted to reach a bigger audience, I decided to utilize social media. Without determination, motivation and the will power to make this happen, I wouldn't have made it thus far.

Fashion Gxd Magazine:  What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?

Delreena Phillips : I had to be real with myself. Nothing happens over night and everything takes time. I have never had a problem putting in the work..just my patience were very thin. (lol) I have also grew to learned that you can't please everyone. When I started my business on social media I was everywhere. I had someone even tell me that I needed to pick a direction to go in and stick with it. But in the end, it is the failures that help us see what works and what doesn't works. And I'm still learning.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What ignited the spark in you to start a entrepreneur venture or to pursue your career?

Delreena Phillips The love of shopping. I love to shop for myself and everyone else!  I love it. If anyone has to work, why not let it be something you enjoy and on your own terms. But more importantly I wanted to do something different. I wanted to do something that fitted me instead of the other way around. So I put 2 and 2 together and a boutique was born.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?

Delreena Phillips : Not at all. No one needs anything specialother than the will, drive and motivation. If you put your mind and heart into it anything you do can be accomplished.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : To what do you most attribute your success?

Delreena Phillips : I have surrounded myself with business minded people. That's what kept me focused and on track. It kept me going when I was at my peak of giving up. If you surround yourself with like minded individuals, it sort of makes the journey a little easier because you have someone by your side who understands what you are going through.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What would say are the five essential elements for being a successful boutique owner?

Delreena Phillips :Have patience, be humble, network, stay motivated and become one with your hustle (brand). Herstler has become my new baby. I handle it with care like everything else that is most important in my life.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What has been your most satisfying moment in business, when creating Herstler?

Delreena Phillips :My customers, I love them. I talk to them all the time. You have a question, concern or just want to chit chat, I'm on it. Customer service is always number one and knowing that I put a smile on their faces makes me feel like I am doing my job.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : Who has been your greatest inspiration to start your own clothing boutique?

Delreena Phillips :This all started as a means of selling a few unwanted items on ebay so I could take care of my son. And still this day, I do it all for him.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What book has inspired you the most? (OR What is your favorite book?)

Delreena Phillips :I have just read #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruse. I love that book, it was so inspirational. I was surprised to see that she started on ebay, just like I did, so the things that she went through and how she put it together, I could totally relate too. She also srated that she didn't have a marketing degree in her business she started out just so she could be able to take care of herself. A look out now, she has become one of a few multi-millionaires alive within a few short years.

Fashion Gxd Magazine :What motivates you to start your own business ?

Delreena Phillips :I have always wanted to do something that was different, something that was out of the box something that was not your normal traditional thing to do. So entrepreneurship was so fitting to me. It wasn't your normal 9-5 it wasn't something that you had audition for or qualified for. You make your own hours, your own rules, you are your own boss. I felt like I had to become an entrepreneur, I had to go into business for myself if I wanted a customized job.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What three pieces of advice would you give to individuals wishing to get into fashion or who aspire to start a clothing boutique like yourself

Delreena Phillips :The most important thing here is too study your craft. Get to know it, become one with it. Get to know it as much as . It's just about the fun stuff, it so many other aspects to it that you also have to learn.

Fashion Gxd Magazine :What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

Delreena Phillips :My greatest fear is too fail. You put your heart, blood and sweat into something you want to see succeed. I try my best not to fail I look at everything I'm a perfectionist. Even when I read the book #girlboss, she gave me a different aspect on how I could become a better business owner. Now I triple check everything, yes every small detail.

FGM: How do you define success?

Delreena Phillips :Success to me is happiness. You have be happy in every aspect of your life. It's not alwaysabout the money. Yes you need the money to pay the bills but you should work in an environment that makes you happy.

FGM: What is the best way to achieve long-term success for Hersler?

Delreena Phillips :I listen to my customers and as a consumer myself and as a mother I think that having good quality items withaffordable prices items is what will bring longevity. I have no idea what tomorrow brings but I will try my best to make sure that I provided service that is unique and different from anything anyone has ever experienced.

FGM: If you could have given yourself a piece of knowledge or advice when you started your clothing line what would that be?

Delreena Phillips :I would have told myself to stop holding back. Because you never know what can happen if you try if did what made you happy. Sometimes you have to step outside the box. If it makes you uncomfortable you should still go for it because you never know what will come from it.

FGM: Which opportunities should you have followed; what pitfalls would you have avoided?.

Delreena Phillips :Herstler is still very new and we are still in our infantcy stage. From the last couple of months we tired a few things to see what works and what does not work. I'm lucky enough to not have any serious, epic fails. You have to be smart with the decisions that you make for your business because at the end of the day your business fails or succeeds by the decisions that you make.

FGM: What is a Inspiring Woman To You ?

Delreena Phillips : Some of the women I look up to is of course of Beyonce, Shaune ONeal, Nicki Minaj and Jada Pinkett. These women are very successful and #girlbosses in their own right. It's the humbleness and the the ability to put other women in a position to also win. These women had dreams and goals they wanted to accomplish and it wasn't your typical conventional happy dreams they had dreams beyond the stars. That's what inspired me and I hope to eventually do the same.

FGM: What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?

Delreena Phillips : In my non-work time? Besides working, I love spending time with my son. We do little arts and crafts and play board games. We have a little own little party at home! He even helps me cook dinner sometimes, he's like my little chef and helper. So when I'm not working, I'mjust a mom.
