FGM: It is an honor to sit down with you all . Tell us a little about your brand and how you have come to this vastly successful peek in your career .

Answer: I am a 3-time International best-selling author, speaker, wordsmith, and women’s enthusiast. My portfolio reflects a millennial entrepreneur of epic proportions; stewarding a myriad of professional and creative vernaculars; ranging from beauty, modeling, and PR-consulting; to social media management, freelance writing services, music, and content design. Affectionately known as: “Dr. Allison The Beauty Practitioner”™, I merge seamless creativity, with a huge heart for people; a trait I refuse to compromise. FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?

Answer: My clients have ranged from politicians, celebrities, and influencers; to everyday entrepreneurs ready to get intentional about their brand. I enjoy surpassing expectations. I enjoy working with high-end individuals, who believe that they have seen everything in this life. I love introducing them to world-class service and dope work; they do nothing, but smile, pay, and send someone else my way. Lol.

FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?

Answer: I take odds and make them bow to my GOD. Opposition, poverty, obesity, and anything other labels I have worn, have proven to be no match for GOD; I want to show up for other young queens from the hood; impoverished women and/or men who feel forgotten by society; I want to make the difference for those, by example. I have had everything from social, to political, to economical odds stacked against my success. However, despite them all, YAH-SHUA has showed them, that HE is bigger in me than the opposition I have faced in this world. I was born to show people; that if I can do it with GOD; they can do it better, with him.

FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur.

Answer: I have ADHD and Anxiety. So, when the weapon is your mind, you are facing another level of challenge. There is no one to blame. It is like shadowboxing. When I am restless, or tired, or fearful, or stagnant. I literally must determine; are you going to let this beat you, or are you going to rise to the occasion and press forward. I have learned how to push past emotional traumas, and other internal obstacles; in order to show up for what I LOVE. I am #married2it!

FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand.

Answer: When people book Dr. Allison The Beauty Practitioner, they are booking themselves. One of three of the best qualities that are found, is my ability to make people better see themselves. We live in a “see me” society, remiss of the vision required to make that actually-matter on a deeper level. Providing clients beauty, business, and bio services; they are given an undeniable amount of clarity for their professional direction; a better mirror to see their own brand in.

The other two unique qualities about Dr. Allison The Beauty Practitioner; is our commitment to impressive delivery and benevolence. I overdeliver; period.

I am going to put a globe in the hand of the person I do business with. Love is a superpower; at Dr. Allison The Beauty Practitioner, I make sure to offer benevolence as its own service. People who spend money, do not wish to feel as though they are. FGM: Give me an example of when you worked irregular hours?

Answer: That is the example. Lol. I work irregular hours…lol

FGM: Being an entrepreneur is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that?

Answer: I served the gift before I was ever paid for it. I believe; and I tell my clients this all the time. I believe that you are “always doing ...what you’re doing” . Entrepreneurs SHOULD be paid, from the central of their ease. Meaning whatever you do with ease and at some point, or another; in service without pay, is exactly what you should be paid to do. I prepared myself, by serving others when no one believed in my gifts enough to pay for them. NOW my gifts PAY me. ALL GOD!

FGM: How did you acquire the ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as an entrepreneur ?

Answer: Passion drives purpose. We all know that purpose is ultimate.

However, WE don’t always feel like doing what it takes in order to attain purpose. When you have a sincere and thriving passion for a thing, it makes the requirement feel like nothing. In other words, it’s like my mentor tells me often; her name is Ms. Bernadette B. Forrest; She says, “ Shadaria, if the WANT to is BIG enough, the HOW TO will come”. This is essentially where I find the passion to work under pressure. I want it. Simple.

FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, place, to develop new brand developments?

Answer: Spur of the moment. While listening to TRAP music. 😊

FGM: Which current public figure, are you inspired by or appreciate the most?

Answer: Glad you said current. It was about to get preachy..lol …cuz I love Coretta Scott King! Seriously though, I would have to say, Debbie Allen. I work with an amazing celebrity artist by the name of A. Nichel. (She is a beast btw) Debbie invited us out to CALI to present at her “Lights Up” gala. The artist created an insane Stevie Wonder piece that Debbie Allen fell in love with! We get to CALI. We meet her. When I say humble; Its criminal how humble DEBBIE ALLEN is. SHES A BEAST! She’s TELEVISION! PERIOD! A legend! Yet her humility, and the work she does with children and how kind she was when she met us and how much she loves and how approachable she is... SHOOK me. I love working with people who know they are GIANTS but choose humility. That says something very solid, about who they truly are.

FGM: How do you handle stress ?

Answer: Prayer. Creating. Crying. Laughing. Gratitude. Spending time with my SON CA’REN!!

FGM: What are the three qualities you feel an entrepreneur must have ?

Answer: Creativity. Bravery. GOD.

This game requires far more than affirmations and talent. Are you ready to persevere? Overcome? Give your All? Good. You still AINT ready. If you do not have a solid faith in GOD and a knowing that everything you touch came from above-you before it came THROUGH You!!- You are not ready.

FGM: Where do you see your business in 10 years ?How do you plan to get there ?

Answer: In 10 years I will have changed the way the world sees quintessential business; through the power of creative energy and love. I will by then, have traveled the world, initiating reform to faith-based communities, hospitals, film, music, the creative arts industry, and governmental policy. It has been through the power of words and on the back of books, that I have built a foundation for myself. It will be through that same power- and on the back of books; 10 years from now, that I will have built an empire. Stay Tuned.
