Today we are spotlighting Social Media Influencer and TikTok Model, Bridget Leigh Childers. Those who are a part of her TikTok network of 1 million followers know that she loves to make people happy with everything that she does. Bridget is currently working with numerous companies as the brand deal requests continue to roll in.
Hi Bridget, it's nice to chat with you today! How would you describe your sense of style and fashion as a model?
Bridget: Thank you! I would describe my style as a model very classic and modern.
What are some of your favorite brands to wear and why?
Bridget: Hollister, American Eagle, and Forever21 because they are comfortable and affordable as well as stylish at a good price.
We understand that you love to thrift. What do you enjoy most about it?
Bridget: I love to thrift because it’s cheap and I still look good and I put my personality into, self-made. It’s also fun for me to explore different clothing styles.
How did you obtain the confidence to become a model?
Bridget: It’s just my personality and I’m a social, happy, caring, and loving individual.
Did you ever have insecurities? If so, how did you overcome them?
Bridget: No, because I’m very confident and I believe in myself.
What is your favorite fashion season and why?
Bridget: Fall because I love a pants and boots moment. It’s a very cozy season and I like fall colors.
Any fashion tips you would have for us as we approach the summer?
Bridget: Make a bathing suit that doesn’t make bad tan lines. Do not put nets in men’s swimsuits.
How has being a model make an impact on you personally?
Bridget: Being a model made me stronger and it’s been very rewarding. I’ve accomplished a lot at a young age. It makes me happy to see other people happy.
What advice would you have for aspiring models?
Bridget: Stay true to yourself and keep a good balance between work, your personal life, and mental health above everything. There’s always going to be bad so stay positive, uplifted, and motivated. Try to impact everyone that you come in contact with in a great way. Be kind to the people that support you because you’d be nothing without them.
