This week we sat down with Epiphany Hair. Epiphany Hair is a new business launched from Southern California by a mom and daughter team. Epiphany Hair provides multiple selections of hair textures, wigs, eyelashes, and edge control. A goal of Epiphany Hair is to include women of all ethnicities who desire to enhance their beauty without damaging their hair. The website presents with a variety of applications for hair extensions to ensure each individual woman "experiences a manifestation personified." Take a look at our exclusive interview below.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : How did the idea for your business come about?
Answer: We had the desire to create a brand that was accessible to all ethnicity of women at an affordable price on one website.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How do you find people to bring into your organization that truly care about the organization the way you do?
Answer: We are a two person team at this time. Once we expand, we would look for individuals who are humble and determined to help others function at their optimal level.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : What three pieces of advice would you give to other children who want to become entrepreneurs?
Answer: 1) Write down your plan; 2) Speak and think positively about brand; and 3) Failure is not an option.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Answer: Instead of dreaming of owning a business, implementing the dream was the first step. We didn't step into the dream due to fear of failing. We could have started this business 7-8 years ago and already experienced the growing pains of a start-up company.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur ?
Answer: 1) Organized; 2) Critical/Analytical Thinker; and 3) Time management.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Answer: Fear and procrastination are the first that come to mind. We have learned that this particular business has a huge potential. We can not operate and grow with fear, or procrastination, to be successful.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How many hours do you work a day on average?
Answer: Currently we both have full time jobs and dedicate at least 2-4 hours a day focusing on our business.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :Describe/outline your typical day?
Answer: Checking business emails, research ideas to increase traffic to our website, promote our business on social media and within the community.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
Answer: Our family is very supportive of us, we include them in the day to day promoting of our brand. Being entrepreneur's has not affected our family life negatively, which is a blessing.

Answer: Knowing our potential to be successful in this business and having the ability to help others enhance their image.
Fashion Gxd Magazine: How do you generate new ideas?
Answer: We constantly brainstorm, read books, and listen to feedback from others in the industry or potential customers.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : What sacrifices have you had to make to be a successful entrepreneur?
Answer: Personal financial investment with no help of a loan, or investors.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?
Answer: We envision Epiphany Hair to be well known nationally and internationally. Epiphany Hair business is a foundation to other business ventures such as clothing and cosmetic lines, which are currently in development.
