This week we sat down with rising CEO Naquita Makell the CEO of Tinker Jewels. Tinker Jewels offers stainless steel hypoallergenic jewelry to those who have sensitive prone skin. Their goal is to provide affordable high-quality jewelry to their customers. They sell Custom jewelry, stainless steel accessories, and purses. Heres the exclusive interview with the brand.

FGM: It's an honor to sit down with you all. Tell us a little about your brand and how you've come to this vastly successful peek in your career.

Answer: Thank you so much for taking the time to interview me. My name is Naquita Gary. I am the owner of Tinkerjewels LLC. Tinkerjewels is going on 5 years in November 2023. I created a jewelry brand in 2014 and it went terrible. I had no clue about running a business and only went in for the wrong reason. In 2018, I met my now husband, and he suggested I try it again. I've always had a passion for jewelry so I knew that it was right for me to try it again. I started handmaking my jewelry at first, now I have vendors and wholesalers who help me create the beautiful pieces you see today.

FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?

Answer: My clients currently are those who are in need of high-quality jewelry but need it affordable. Also, those who have very sensitive skin like me to jewelry.

FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?

Answer: I honestly never saw myself making a difference in the world until I started doing lives on my TikTok. So many customers have told me on my live that they were looking for great affordable jewelry. A lot has also said that they used to settle for costume jewelry because high-end jewelry was not affordable.

Answer:FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur

Answer: Having my son and being a stay-at-home Mom is hard. And I am also a full-time employee Choosing to keep going every day has been hard but no matter what I push through every day.

FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand.

Answer: Tarnish free. Waterproof, and Hypoallergenic

FGM: Give me an example of when you worked irregular hours.

Answer: EVERYDAY! My son doesn't sleep well. So I try to work the hours he sleeps. Meaning I will work sometimes at 6 am to Midnight. I will make sure to get the job done

FGM: Being an entrepreneur is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that?

Answer: Absolutely ready, I truly understand that if I don't do it doesn't get done. I won't reach the dreams I have for Tinkerjewels if I don't work.

FGM: How did you acquire the ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as an entrepreneur? I try to remember my why at all times. Why I started this in the first place. I live by a planner as well. I also pray every morning for patience and no laziness in my bone.

Answer:

FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, or place, to develop new brand developments?

Answer: I love watching entrepreneurs’ vlogs on Youtube. It gives me motivation and even helps me focus on a new development.

FGM: Which current public figure, are you inspired by or appreciate the most?

Answer: Mia Ray is my inspiration. How she started and where she came from definitely inspires me

FGM: How do you handle stress?

Answer: Prayer thats it. I have to pray and work out to keep me sane.

FGM: What are the three qualities you feel an entrepreneur must have?

Answer: Patience, Consistency, and Drive

FGM: Where do you see your business in 10 years? How do you plan to get there?

Answer: I am hoping to have my own warehouse and have employees do the backend of Tinkerjewels. I also want to own a few vending machines with my products in.
