FGM: Its an honor to sit down with you all. Tell us a little about your brand and how you've come to this vastly successful peek in your career .
Answer: It is an honor to be interviewed. Thank you. So my name is Katherine Nunez. I’m a Latin X Actress/Influencer/Mother from New Jersey. I started my career in 2010 as a model. Transitioned into hosting podcasts and later acting in 2016. I booked my first professional project as a lead in the Independent film franchise called Pocket Full Of Game in 2018, and it’s been non stop for me ever since. I have had the opportunity to work on many projects and also train with professional acting coaches like Thomas G. Waites at his acting studio at the Gene Frankel Theatre, and also with Tracey Moore and Joe Morton on Inside The Black Box on Crackle TV. And now, you can watch me on Tubi on the first episode of Groupie The WebSeries: The Blueprint of a Self Made Millionaire in which I play a character by the name of Maria Torres a corporate groupie.
FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects that you most enjoy working on?
Answer: As an actress, I love to work with creatives. And I love becoming different characters, some of my favorite projects to work on are horror films. My favorite project to have worked on, isn’t even out yet, but it will be soon. We are still in production. It’s called In Vein, by Ray Loot. I play a vampire by the name of Calidora. I honestly love working with people who have a crazy creative mind and with people that see the value in my craft. I also had the pleasure of doing an amazing fashion editorial shoot with lOMI photography where we bring to life both of my alter egos in one photo. They also did the cover photo for this magazine cover. lOMI always executes and pushes the envelope with their eye for concepts. I’m excited to show everyone all the other projects lOMI and I have been workin on, in which they capture me my alter ego Kathy Red alongside Katherine Nunez.
FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?
Answer: I feel like my life’s journey has already made a huge difference in MY world and my kids world. I believe people view me as the underdog. As someone whose chances are slim. And I’m okay with that. But at the end, the underdog always beats the odds. That’s kinda inspiring, isn’t it? I would hope so at-least. And that’s what I want to instill in young 15 yr old girls, that the under dog always prevails. So sit tight. Work hard because everyone’s time comes and you don’t have to ride everyone’s wave. You are the wave.
FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination to continue as an entrepreneur
Answer: I’m all about recreating myself. I have rebranded 3 times! When I saw something wasn’t working for me, and not just on a financial level but on a spiritual level, I let it go and move forward. I think that in life you just have to be committed to not just the success part of the game, but also the journey into success. Because it’s a long one. And being an entrepreneur looks fun and can be very beneficial but it also requires a lot of consistency, tenacity and dedication.
FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand
Answer: The best qualities about my brand is that 1). I am the brand.
2). I can be myself
3). It’s rewarding
FGM: Give me an example of when you worked irregular hours?
Answer: I used to bartend at clubs in NYC, and also hosted parties. It was def a 24/7 job. Because when you aren’t working, you are promoting or advertising to people so that they come see you. Kinda like what I do with my brand now except I tell people to watch my Movies instead

FGM: Being a entrepreneur is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that?
Answer: I was born ready!
FGM: How did you acquire the ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as a entrepreneur ?
Answer: I think private schooling helped me a lot. It actually trained me to always wake up early and have my reports and papers handed in on time. I was always punctual growing up. I also have kids so I feel like naturally as a mother you just know how to work under pressure. There is no way around that. But also prioritizing is important.
FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, place, to develop new brand developments?
Answer: We’ll, when it’s cold, my favorite place has become my bed. I watch my shows, I write in my journal, I catch up on scripts and emails, I submit for auditions and wait for call backs, all from the comfort of my bed—sometimes. And then other times I have to go for walks and go by the river when it gets warm out. I’m a home body. But when I’m not home I’m working. And if I’m not home or working I’m doing something relaxing. Shopping/Spa/dinners.
FGM: Which current public figure, are you inspired by or appreciate the most?
Answer: Beyonce period.
How do you handle stress ?
Answer: I don’t handle stress. I try to not stress. But when I do. Stay away.
FGM: What are the three qualities you feel an entrepreneur must have ?
Answer:
Punctuality
Grace
Be a Good problem solver
FGM: Where do you see your business in 10 years ?How do you plan to get there ?
Answer: You know, I’ll be honest. I always get asked this question. And I always say this or that, and it never happens. I have a lot of goals. I work on them as I go through life, and depending on what life throws my way. So for the first time, I honestly and truly don’t have an answer. I wanna just let god do his thang. See what happens. Maybe ten years from now it will be a different answer.
